napID Alternate Payment Authentication Mechanisms
Passwordless, No PIN, No CVV, No OTP Authenticator
 

01 - Netbanking (napID Passwordless)

  • User id alone is enough to make the payment.
  • Pay button will be enabled only for you to initiate the transaction.
  • Others cannot initiate payment using your user id.

02 - Credit / Debit Card (napID Card Payment without CVV)

  • 16 digit card number alone is enough to make the payment.
  • Pay button will be enabled only for you to initiate the transaction.
  • Others cannot initiate payment using your card number.

03 - OTP Replacer With napID Mobile No. Verifier

  • Test netbanking passwordless payment with napID Mobile number verifier as a 2-Factor authentication instead of unsecured SMS OTP.

04 - Netbanking - Traditional (With napID Fraud Filter Layer)

  • The Password field and pay button will be enabled only for you to initiate the transaction.
  • Even if someone stole your password, they cannot even type your password and initiate a fraudulent transaction.

05 - Card Pay - Traditional (With napID Fraud Filter Layer)

  • The validity (MM/YY), CVV & Card holder name fields will be enabled only for you to initiate the transaction.
  • Others cannot even type these values and initiate a fraudulent transaction.

06 - UPI (With napID Fraud Filter Layer)

  • Pay button will be enabled only for you to initiate the transaction using your VPA.
  • Others cannot initiate a fraudulent UPI transaction and send notifications to your UPI app.
